About the Association
Rahere is a charitable association devoted to the welfare of patients and staff at St Bartholomews Hospital. It takes its name from the priest, Rahere, who founded the Church and Hospital in the year 1123.
The Rahere Association was formed in 1953, and is a registered charity (number 221171). It is managed by a committee of voluntary members, which meets throughout the year.

Applications
The committee is able to consider a wide variety of applications and the Applications page gives details of the information which the committee would like to receive. Procedures are in place enabling responses to be given quickly and, the more information that can be given at the outset, then the less likely the need to refer back for further information.

Examples of grants
This section gives some examples of grants previously made by the committee. The committee are able to consider any application provided that it relates to patients and staff of St Bartholomew’s Hospital and is relevant to the wellbeing of patients and staff there.
